Kenny Anderson FCIOB

Kenny Anderson is the co-founder of Anderson Construction (Aberdeen) Ltd, which he formed in 1993 following a successful career starting at McLeod and Aitken Chartered Quantity Surveyors in 1977. A move in 1983 enabled Kenny to develop his skills in Contract Surveying, Estimating and Project Management, leading to a role as Director of Span Construction by 1988.

Since founding Anderson Construction, Kenny was also able to add Anderson Buchan Properties Ltd. in 2000. He is Managing Director and majority shareholder of both companies turning over approx £6m per annum specialising in commercial, industrial and public work. The companies have no borrowing and own a portfolio of commercial property let to a variety of tenants. Anderson Construction is a Chartered Building Company.

Kenny sat the DMX in 1998 emerging with a Credit and two Distinctions. He was Aberdeen Centre Vice Chair and then Chair before becoming CIOB Scotland Junior Vice Chair in 2005 and CIOB Scotland Chair in 2007.
