Richard Humphrey FCIOB
Richard is a Chartered construction and management professional, with extensive experience in technical, operational, tactical and strategic management; incorporating a comprehensive knowledge of construction, repairs, maintenance, refurbishment and asset management.
He specialising in system evaluation, service and business review and continuous process improvement.
He is currently employed as a Senior Lecturer “The School of the Built Environment”, Northumbria University.
He is a company director, property management consultant, technical and management advisor to a range of companies and agencies.
Richard is a Fellow of CIOB and in addition to his position on the Board of Trustees, he also holds the following appointments:

Richard is also Director and Trustee of “Keyfund Federation”, a registered charity for less privileged and disadvantaged children.
Passionate about all things CIOB, Richard is particluarly interested in the CIOB's ability to influence and affect perceptions of the construction industry in the wider community and its contribution to sustainable and environmentally sensitive strategies for the future.
