An opportunity to update your technical knowledge on the recent changes to Part L of the Building Regulations.
A presentation by Jane Keely of NHBC Commercial Building Control, who will discuss generally about the principles behind the calculations for new buildings, both SAP for dwellings and SBEM for non-residential buidings. Jane will then discuss the legislation relating to work on existing non-residential buildings and the requirements for consequential improvements when existing buidlings over 1000m2 are being altered or extended. The requirements for Energy Performance Certificates will also be mentioned.
