Sheffield will recognise its construction professionals for the first time with the launch of the Celebrating Construction in Sheffield Awards.
CCIS 08 is to be a showcase for the professionalism, excellence and innovation that is at the heart of Sheffield's construction community. An opportunity to entertain your guests, showcase your Development and Construction Projects, and network with local industry while enjoying a three course dinner.
The awards will refelect the dynamic nature of the construction business and will highlight the broadest possible spectrum of construction excellence being delivered by the industry in Sheffield.
The awards are open to organisations, both public and private, and individuals located in and around the City of Sheffield and whose business is related to construction.
Seven award categories have been chosen to reflect the sensitive and diverse issues and matters current in a modern construction industry. These include:
- The Health & Safety Award
- The Award for Innovation
- The Award for Major Contribution to Excellence and Quality
- The Award for Leadership in People Development
- The Sustainability Award
- The Award for Integration and Collaborative Working
- The Award for the Manager of the Future
The Celebrating Construction 2008 dinner will take place on Thursday 2nd October 2008 at Sheffield City Hall. A prestigious black tie event, tickets are priced at £49 + VAT.
A number of significant supporting organisations, including Sheffield City Concil, Health and Safety Executive, CreativeSheffield and Sheffield Newspapers, have all agreed to give their backing to this exciting new initiative. Sponsorship packages are available to corporate sponsors.
