The CIOB recognises the importance of education, training and development within construction, as well as encouraging young people into the industry. The Student Challenge competition is designed to allow teams of students from colleges and universities across the country to showcase their construction skills and knowledge to the wider construction industry.
The South East Student Challenge Competition is the stepping stone for teams from the South East to compete at the National Student Challenge finals at CIOB headquarters, Ascot. It is an opportunity for a team of 4 from a college or university to display their construction knowledge in front of potential employers, CIOB members and other dignitaries. It provides students with a unique chance to represent their college or university in a challenging and fun way against other academic institutions in the region.

We are inviting you to put forward a team of 4 students to enter into next year’s South East Student Challenge competition on Wednesday 3 March 2010 at the Novotel in Southampton. For entries please contact Sally Albin, salbin@ciob.org.uk
