CIOB at Ecobuild 2010
Wednesday, January 13, 2010
The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) will be one of the main sponsors at this year’s Ecobuild exhibition, taking place at Earl’s Court from 2-4 March 2010.
As well as sponsoring the VIP/speaker area and the key information points throughout the exhibition, staff from the CIOB’s membership team will be on hand to provide advice and guidance.
On Thursday 4 March, we will be hosting a panel discussion on the subject of “Greening the Construction Curriculum – Fit for the Future?” This live, interactive session will be facilitated by a pre-event survey of CIOB members and questions from the live audience. It is planned that the session will be filmed and broadcast via the CIOB website so it can be shared with a wider audience.
Chaired by CIOB Deputy Chief Executive, Michael Brown, we are delighted to announce that panel members for the discussion will include Paul Morrell OBE, Chief Construction Advisor and Professor Li Shirong, CIOB President.
Prior to the panel discussion, Paul Morrell will also be presenting a breakfast seminar to members, entitled “Decarbonising the Industry – Are we ready to deliver?”
If you wish to attend either of the presentations on March 4th, places are limited; in the first instance please email CIOBevents@ciob.org.uk with your name, job title and contact details.
