I have worked in the construction industry for over 40 years, (15 at director or board level), working predominantly for major main contractors in Central London and the South East, and latterly for 10 years as a Client/Consultant. I started out in the industry as an indentured surveying student for Trollope & Colls, subsequently migrating into production. I have worked for AMEC, Bovis Lend Lease, Taylor Woodrow, and Sisk.
I have been responsible for constructing several major hotels and office buildings in central London, the refurbishment of the Old Bailey, and the conversion of the North Block of Somerset House. I have worked in the Commercial, Education, Hotel, Retail, Residential, and Airport sectors.
I became a Fellow of the CIOB in 2000 and have served as a Trustee since 2014. I have also served on the Professional Conduct Committee and the Professional Review Membership Panel.
