Bridget joined the CIOB as Chief Operating Officer in 2008.  During her time at the Institute Bridget has overseen a number of critical developments, including the introduction of a competence based qualification for Chartered Membership, and International recognition for CIOB qualifications. Bridget became the Institute’s Deputy Chief Executive in 2014 and engages with stakeholders across the Industry on education, attracting diverse talent and training and development. 

Bridget is the former Chair of the Construction Industry Council’s Diversity Panel and has been elected as a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Constructors. She was a finalist in the 2015 Outstanding Women in Construction category at the Women in Construction Awards. Bridget has a profile as a key note speaker and Chair of conferences on topics such as Professionalism, Skills, Careers Guidance and Diversity.
