Jean is an energetic and results driven professional working at Board level. Now an MD of her own Consultancy, Jean has a vast experience across many sectors, cultures and industries and has a proven track record in delivering transformation programmes and a range of business operation strategies.
During her career, she has continually led on developing successful collaborative partnerships that positively position value propositions for a range of stakeholders. Jean has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and has built successful, long-term relationships with colleagues and peers. These include Government, Industry Bodies, Local Authorities, Developer’s, Charities, Main Contractors, SME business owners and their management teams.
Jean holds the position of Vice Chair on the Business Development Board at the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) London and also sits on both their Policy Board and the 14-19 Education Committee. Jean is also an Executive of the Construction Client Leadership Group (CCLG) sits on the Mayors Construction Skills Advisory Group, is a representative on the City of London’s Social Value Consultation Panel, and an ambassador for the London Chamber of Commerce. Jean uses her commercial experience to create strong, smart partnerships and collaborations between education and industry - enabling learning to mirror professional standards
As a London Ambassador for the National Apprenticeship Service, Jean promotes apprenticeships across various professional sectors. She is also a Director of Women into Construction and is passionate about her work in raising awareness to recruit females into the industry and importantly raising retention levels within the Construction Industry.
In addition Jean is championing raising Mental Health awareness across all Industries by supporting initiatives which include Building Site to Boardroom and mental health and well-being programmes - A Deeper Understanding and Vector Equilibrium.
More recently, Jean has been instrumental in helping businesses “capitalise on the opportunities around the skills landscape”, with a particular focus on supporting both levy-paying and SME organisations to explore opportunities to use apprenticeships to deliver impactful workforce solutions.
In 2015 Jean received an MBE for her services to skills and training.
