Higher Education Qualifications

One route of entry for a career in construction management is by studying for a degree. This can be studied full or part time at a college or university and several are also available via distance-learning.

A degree can lead, with appropriate experience, to full Chartered status (MCIOB).

One of the great things about having a degree is that it’s a universally accepted qualification. So if you want to work around the world, then a degree will open doors for you. There’s a whole spectrum of undergraduate degrees to choose from which will provide a springboard into a rewarding career in construction. These include degrees in all aspects of management of the built environment from design through to construction and maintenance.

Many of these higher education qualifications hold CIOB Accreditation. That means we have given them our seal of approval for the high standards of their courses.
