As our Web and Communications Editor, you will write/create, edit and manage content across the range of CIOB online platforms. Providing a service across the organisation, you will lead on the style and sound of CIOB online and play an active role in all web development programmes, digital marketing and design, together with some agency management and use of analytics.  

You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure optimal impact of marketing campaigns is achieved via the web and manage the production of multimedia content and other ways of promoting CIOB activity online.  Alongside this, you will play a key role in the development of CIOB online platforms, linking technical work with the ambitions of content and design and providing testing and support where necessary.   

We’re looking for someone who is ideally educated to Degree level or who has a relevant professional qualification. A self-starter who is able to work as part of a team, you will have practical experience of managing online content and web development programmes and have proven skills in writing web copy, editing and proof reading content.

With excellent all round communication skills and sound knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop and InDesign, you will bring experience in Drupal and WordPress along with web publishing and content management systems.  A knowledge of video editing and/or willingness to learn would be an advantage.  You will also be able to talk about project management skills in delivering development projects.
