Site Management Award

We have long recognised the importance that the site manager plays in the success – or otherwise – of a project. Since 1976, we have been training site managers through what began as our Site Managers Education Training Scheme (SMET) and is now our Site Management Certificate and Diploma Programme.

Our Site Management Awards aim to reward professionalism in site management and to promote and encourage best practice. Candidates come from those currently attending the Level 4 programme at one of our accredited training centres and those that have completed it within the last five years. The training centres and employers make the nomination.

Assessed through three stages – nominations, an assessment of occupational performance via a written report, and an interview – three finalists will be selected and awarded gold, silver and bronze awards.

Candidates who reach the second and third stages are automatically eligible for the Paul Andree Memorial Award.
