Claire is the Procurement Delivery Manager for Tarmac and has a broad experience in national supply chain management, stakeholder engagement and delivering change programmes.

Claire is the Procurement Delivery Manager for Tarmac and has a broad experience in national supply chain management, stakeholder engagement and delivering change programmes. In her role, Claire is responsible for the processes, reporting and control that supports the Procurement function in Tarmac. Providing a strategic framework linking procurement category management and operations engagement, her team manages supplier assurance processes including accreditation, performance data and analysis. Claire and the team also support various optimisation programmes to ensure continuous improvement and the delivery of procurement excellence for stakeholders and customers.

Before joining Tarmac in 2015, Claire spend 9 years with Balfour Beatty in a number of roles including Design Management and Project Management before moving into Supply Chain Management for the Construction and Civil Engineering sectors.

Claire has been an active member of the CIOB since graduating from Loughborough University, becoming a full member in 2010 and joining the Novus committee in the West Midlands. Since then Claire has been an integral member of the CIOB committee in the Midlands, becoming Chair for the Birmingham Hub in 2017.
