About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a brand-new role in Hong Kong as a Training Manager to join us and work closely with senior representatives from across the construction industry to build, manage and promote CIOB Academy training courses, to both individuals and organisations across the region. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a training business, bring your creativity and passion to your work, and make a real difference to the industry. This role will report directly to the Associate Director - CIOB Academy, who is located in London.

Identifying and assessing current and future commercial training needs of construction managers and construction businesses; you will lead on bespoke training proposals, build strong relationships and set up/develop internal processes for the management and delivery of qualifications, short courses and online/blended learning.

Managing incoming enquiries and contributing to the management and ongoing development of the Academy online platform, and marketing materials; you will manage the full product development and management process. You will monitor and evaluate the training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically, whilst maintaining a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.

 

What we’re looking for…

We’re looking for an individual who can demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills with a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver on targets, along with demonstrable experience of product management preferably within the Learning and Development field. With the ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively, you will have a good track record of designing and executing successful training programs and be familiar with online (eLearning, distance learning) instructional design methods and processes. 

Experience of the construction and built environment sector would be a significant advantage, however, this is not essential.
