About the Speaker:
Hamza Momade MCIOB is a Civil Engineer with a Doctorate degree specializing in building productivity models using artificial intelligence tools. A Mozambican by heart, he has worked as a PM in Malaysia, Singapore and at present Canada on residential, commercial, and industrial projects with overall experience of 11 years. He has worked closely in creating policies and implementing quality processes and project management software (Procore, virtual reality 3D modelling, HCSS, Sitedocs, Jibble) to improve overall production, document control, and make firms more competitive.
He currently volunteers as Tomorrow Leaders Chair with CIOB, Toronto, current chair of PMI Lakeshore (Construction) and a committee member with ICE and RICS. He works as a PM for Roni Group (Earthwork specialist) and is a part-time professor at Durham College teaching construction management courses. His research publications focus on improving construction productivity levels, sustainable construction practices and understanding construction technology challenges and can be read at Google Scholar. He is a Chartered Member of CIOB, RICS, Professional licensed Engineer in Canada/Portugal, Project Management Professional and is a Distinguished Toastmaster.
Hamza is a strong believer in challenging the status quo and continues to question the norms inspiring to push the boundaries.
