The highest grade of CIOB membership is Fellowship. We accept applications for this distinguished grade from Chartered members (MCIOB) with at least five years of senior level industry experience.
The new CIOB Fellowship process is now here and, for the first time in our history, open to both members and non-members of the CIOB. It is based on a set of leadership competencies and behaviours that designate the highest level of professional competence.
Benchmarked at Master’s Degree level, applications are open to senior professionals with 5+ years of leading an organisation, leading people and making a contribution to the industry, communities or society.
Our Fellowship team is here to support you through the process and steer you smoothly towards FCIOB.
Benefits of Fellowship
- Recognition of achievement
Gaining Fellowship of the CIOB recognises the achievement you have made in your career and the hard work you have put in to get to such a senior level.
- Demonstrate your leadership
Fellowship validates your management experience and gives you a chance to call yourself a Fellow of the CIOB, as well as to use the post-nominals FCIOB.
- Improve your profile in the industry
You’ll be able to show to the construction industry that you have reached the pinnacle of your career, and join a network of like-minded individuals working at the same level as you.
