Trustee Recruitment

 

The Board of Trustees consists of 16 CIOB Fellows and Members. They have the ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of the Institute and delivering its Royal Charter objectives. They set policy, oversee the budget and are legally responsible for the Institute. Trusteeships are prestigious positions. Trustees are committed to developing the work of the CIOB, spreading influence and raising standards in the wider industry.

In June, 3 trustees will be stepping down from the Board due to completion of tenure, and it is for these positions that we are recruiting. 2 will be elected to the Board by the Corporate membership and the final candidate will be selected to the Board on the basis of skills.

Rules:

  • All candidates for the Trustee roles must be current Chartered Members of the CIOB (MCIOB or FCIOB).
  • All elements of this process have been overseen by the Nominations Committee and its final decision is binding.
