Terry Watts

After 14 years working for IBM, Terry has been involved in software development, start-up businesses, and developing teams through training and e-skills.

Having worked for IBM for 14 years, Terry branched out to put his technology knowledge and management expertise into software development and consultancy before working on start-up businesses. When the dotcom bubble burst he was asked to help establish the first Sector Skills Council (SSC), e-skills UK, which defined skills and qualifications for the technology sector, and then to start the final SSC to be established, Proskills, which supported the supply-chain to construction.

With extensive experience at board level, including as CEO, Terry ventured out on a portfolio career which saw him take on a number of roles from Chair of a Risk and Regulation network in the City, Principal of City of Oxford College, MD of a start-up networking company, International Director for one of the largest UK training companies and lots of other things besides.

Building long term value, growing businesses and developing teams that make a positive difference is however Terry’s passion.
