Summary

CIOB Virtual Conference

Undoubtedly, we are moving towards a Pro-Innovation era and AI is rapidly edging its way into the Built Environment. The government recently announced plans to become a technology Superpower by 2030, investing £370 million in government funding to boost infrastructure, investments, and skills for the UK. While AI brings many challenges it also brings with it a new hope for the sector, opening it up to a more inclusive and diverse workforce.

This conference brings an opportunity to interactively engage with industry experts to discuss the role of Artificial intelligence in Construction, the wider Built Environment and thought leadership on how we can embrace the change within the industry.

Our host Eddie Tuttle, Director of Policy, External Affairs and Research will be joined by sector expert Dave Philps from Cohesive who will be presenting the Keynote and CIOB’s report on ‘The roadmap toward AI – how data science, organisational change management and ML are key milestones on the journey towards AI impact’, providing a new look into AI.
