Site Visit to Weldale Street

Summary

This new build project comprises of 165-, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments over 10 floors. The frame of the building is reinforced concrete with a structural framing system and brickwork façade. This is the 2nd of two phases of work for the developer, Crossmark Developments and Ropemaker Properties. BECT took over phase 2 when the original principal contractor entered administration. The overall construction programme is 104 weeks and the build cost is around £42m.’

T imings

The event will start at 3pm with a 20/30 minute presentation followed by a guided site tour around the development with time for questions.

PPE Requirements

5-point PPE (hard hat, goggles, gloves, hi-vis & safety boots) must be worn at all times whilst on site

There is no parking on site, closest multi storey is across the road. Reading Chatham Place Parking | Reading Car Parks | Q-Park.

Train station is 10 mins walk away.
