Government tribute to the "critical contribution" of the construction industry


2nd April 2020

The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Alok Sharma MP, has today written to the UK construction industry. The letter offers thanks to “everyone operating in the UK construction sector”. He goes on to commend the construction workforce as “making a hugely valued and critical contribution to the resilience of our Nation”.
