Bio
Eng. Tarek Emara, FCIOB, ASQ CMQ/OE, is QA/QC Director at CSCEC Middle East, leading enterprise quality across the GCC; previously with Taisei and KBR, he brings cross-sector expertise.
With 25+ years in complex programs, he has oversaw USD 10B+ portfolios and delivered 80+ projects across the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait.
He implements ISO 9001/14001/45001/37301, operationalizes CoQ reporting, embeds risk-based auditing, and has built a Quality Assessment Scheme (QAS) to measure compliance, cut rework, and enhance efficiency.
He holds an MSc in Construction Management from Heriot-Watt University and is a Fellow of CIOB.
His professional affiliations include ACI and the UAE Society of Engineers. An active community contributor, he collaborates with Dubai Economic Department, Dubai Chamber, and Emirates Environmental Group, and serves as a Senior Excellence Assessor.
