Sponsorships

Sponsoring one of CIOB's events or activities is a perfect way to support your marketing ventures by promoting your brand and showcasing your organisation as experts in your field.

CIOB events and activities have been created to inspire and support professionals with their career development in construction and the built environment.

These activities range from specialist conferences and specific CPD learning to celebrating individuals who achieve chartership and those who become finalists at our prestigious CIOB Awards.

Sponsoring one of the CIOB's events or activities is a perfect way to support your marketing ventures by promoting your brand and showcasing your organisation as experts in your field, whilst showing that you support our values for professionalism and excellence in construction.

The Membership Spectrum

The Membership Spectrum describes just how uniquely broad our membership is in this sector. It evidences the fact that the CIOB, as the professional home for those who manage in construction, includes members in almost all the roles associated with the making of our built environment.

How we work with sponsors

Through sponsorship activities, CIOB adds value to our membership offering by accessing a sponsor’s knowledge and experience. By engaging in activities with our members, sponsor brands are visible to members and non-members through ways that may include:

  • Visibly linking your brand with CIOB and/or a specific event or campaign
  • A platform to showcase your own campaigns, expertise and/or products
  • Logo placement on events or campaigns
  • Hosting exhibition stands at conferences
  • Editorial in newsletters and publications
  • Presentations, webinars or CPD and other learning content

CIOB Conference Themes

The activities and events we run can be categorised into four main areas: People and Careers, Conservation and Heritage, Early Stage Careers, and Educating CIOB Members. Find out more about each category by downloading the explainer leaflets.

Our Upcoming Opportunities

CIOB Conservation Conference, 25 April, One Moorgate Place, London

Running for over 15 years, the CIOB’s conservation and heritage conference is an event for those who have an interest in the heritage sector. The theme for this year is tough times and how it demands innovative approaches. It follows nicely on from our 2022 Lessons for Reliance conference. It’s s a great opportunity to network with the conservation sector, and with refreshments served in the exhibition hall there is plenty of opportunity to do so.
