Government Head of Property Profession & Estates Director at the Foreign Office, CIOB Client Champion

Lynda is responsible for a global estate of around 6,500 properties in 180 countries. Previously she was Director of Property Strategy & Capability in Cabinet Office. She leads the 7,500+ property professionals across government, overseeing the Government Property Strategy and Functional Standard, ensuring efficient, sustainable public sector estates.

With over 25 years' experience in construction, valuation, estate management, and transformational programmes, she is a Fellow of RICS, CIOB, IWFM and APM and an Oxford MPLA graduate. Lynda was elected to RICS Governing Council in January 2025 representing the UK and Ireland. Lynda is a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of the Built Environment Futures Assembly and advises Buckingham New University’s School of Engineering and the Built Environment.

Previously, she held leadership roles in the Department for Transport, Ministry of Justice, HMRC and Department for Education.
