Join Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humber Club and the Chartered Institute of Building with Triton Construction for an exclusive site visit to Sargent Electrical's new advanced manufacturing facility in Beverley.

Triton is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for Sargent Electrical in Beverley. Sargent Electrical designs and manufactures cutting edge custom electrical systems and power control units some of which are installed in buildings like the Shard in London, as well as controls and wiring for Camper vans and caravans which is where the company originally begun its journey. The site is being built to BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ standards, over and above contractual obligations.

The two-storey office will be used, in part, to showcase Sargent Electrical’s innovative systems and controls and there is planned to be a SCADA display in the reception monitoring all the electrical systems, power consumptions, ventilation CO2 levels and providing live data on the overall carbon performance of the building in use.

Details of the building itself:
The building has a GF GIA of 65,000sq/ft split into offices, manufacturing, Distribution and Motorhome repairs and a 1st floor of 20,000 Sq/ft of offices and mezzanine storage total 85,500 sq/ft
The eaves height is 8.15M and Haunch of 6.5M internally, with a curved roof and ridge height of 11.45M
External envelope is a mixture of 2 tone Profiled Cladding, Micro rib flat panels and Curtain walling.
The external works are extensive with swales, ponds and attenuation basin and surrounding habitat areas utilising SUDS to its max wherever possible, including Rainwater Harvesting and an external lighting system that is fully automated to minimise energy usage and any light spillage at night.
