Summary
The Chartered Institute of Building Malaysia (CIOB M) and Johor Master Builders Association (JMBA) are jointly organising a One-Day Seminar on Construction Law 2025: Challenges in Construction Contracts. The seminar covers a wide spectrum of contract related issues. The insurance coverage for the construction industry can be straight forward or complex depending on the scale and type of projects. Another common phenomenon in our construction industry is the role of sub-contractor, there are numerous challenges faced by both main contractor and sub-contractor especially those related to claims. Needless to say, the main bulk of challenges are derived from Extension of Time and Loss & Expenses. With the emergence of more and more cases, digitalization of documents could be the best solution for all.
