From February to May 2025, the UK Government consulted on the next steps for reform to the construction products regime in UK. 

The reforms apply to England, Wales and Scotland as a whole, with some aspects also applying in Northern Ireland. 

This consultation marked the next step for a new regulatory regime for construction product testing, marketing and certification and evolves proposals set out in the Construction Products Reform Green Paper which was published in 2025.
