The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) are seeking views to inform further development of possible options for future reform of combined heat and power policy.

The consultation builds on the information received from the 2020 call for evidence which looked at the future role of efficient co-generation of heat and power to support the 2050 net zero emissions target. Now BEIS are looking to capture views on a variety of potential options for future combined heat and power policy which may help create a pathway to decarbonisation.
