Response to HCLG Committee inquiry into Permitted Development Rights

The Housing, Communities & Local Government (HCLG) Select Committee recently ran a short inquiry into the Government's recent and proposed changes to permitted development rights in respect of large-scale development, commercial-to-residential conversions and changes of use between different types of commercial and retail premises.

Given CIOB's interest in ensuring quality in the built environment, we have issued a response to the inquiry. This will be available to access once our evidence has been approved by the Committee.
