Career Resume:
Having studied Quantity Surveying, I began my career at a main contractor in procurement. This gave me an insight into the industry and provided extremely valuable experience. In 1998 I secured a position at a multi-disciplinary practice, GSS, as Assistant Quantity Surveyor progressing through the business to Partner, leading all Project Management and Quantity Surveying services. In 2025, I joined Winvic Construction as Pre-Construction Manager within the multi-room division.
Having worked in contracting and consultancy, I have industry experience from both aspects, which I believe is a great asset, enabling me to have a more rounded understanding of the industry.
Personal Statement:
I am serving a second term as Trustee because I remain highly motivated to make a meaningful contribution and to build on the experience I have gained. I have seen the positive impact that strong governance and strategic leadership can have, and I am keen to continue applying my skills, expertise, drive and passion to support the ongoing success of the CIOB and making a difference.
I am fully committed to helping deliver the CIOB’s key objectives, including the Corporate Plan, and promoting a sustainable, inclusive and safe global construction industry and to encourage others to be part of the journey through the promotion of the benefits and rewards of membership.
