The CIOB Level 4 Design and Build Technician apprenticeship trains apprentices to support and manage the design, planning, and delivery of construction projects. It covers construction methods, project design, cost management, quality, and health and safety. The apprenticeship combines practical work with learning and finishes with an End-Point Assessment to confirm competence in the role.

Entry Requirements
Desirable:
- Usually 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English.
- Some providers may accept relevant Level 3 qualifications (e.g., Construction Support Technician apprenticeship, BTEC, or NVQ Level 3).
Employment requirement:
- You must have a construction-related job (office or site) to provide real work experience.
- Typically 30+ hours per week in a relevant role.
