Construction Design and Build Technician

1. Work-Based Project Report
   You complete a technical project report based on a real task or project at your workplace.
   Typically 3,000–4,000 words, covering areas like:
   Project design and planning
   Construction methods
   Cost management and procurement
   Quality and compliance
   Health and safety considerations
   This demonstrates your ability to manage and support design and build activities.
2. Project Presentation and Q&A
   You present your project to an independent assessor, usually via video call or in person.
   The assessor asks questions to check your understanding and how you applied your skills.
   Typically lasts 45–60 minutes.
3. Professional Discussion (Interview)
   A structured interview based on your portfolio of evidence from your apprenticeship.
   Focuses on how you apply knowledge, manage tasks, communicate with stakeholders, and demonstrate professional behaviours.
   Usually lasts 60 minutes.

This Level 6 Diploma provides progression opportunities to:
