    About the Event

    CIOB Dublin Hub, in conjunction with James Golden of Quigg Golden and Alan P Brady BL of the Bar of Ireland will present an outline of the Construction Contracts Act 2013 and its impact to date on the Construction Industry in Ireland on May 11th, 2022, at 1pm.

    James, an acting Adjudicator on the ministerial panel, who also frequently represents clients in adjudication will discuss the Intention of the Act and the provisions related to Payment and Adjudication. He will provide an overview of what this means for those working in the Construction Industry in Ireland.

    Alan who is a practising barrister specialising in construction law and commercial litigation. He has appeared for the successful applicant in a number of the first adjudication enforcement actions that have come before the Irish Courts and will provide his insight into the Enforcement of Adjudication Decisions and the interpretation and effectiveness of the Act to date.
