Summary
Join us at Leyland Golf Club for a presentation by E3P on how ground risk is managed.Brownfield Development from Constraint to Construction
This CPD session explores how ground risk is managed from pre-planning through to construction, supporting planning approval, build quality and successful site closure, using real project examples.
It covers:
- Phase 1 Desk Study – identifying planning constraints, abnormal costs and programme risk
- Phase 2 Site Investigation – generating construction-relevant data to reduce uncertainty
- Remediation and Earthworks Strategy – delivering buildable, cost-effective solutions aligned with planning conditions
- Validation and Build-Phase Quality Control – verifying gas protection, garden cover systems and radon measures on site
- Materials Re-use and DoWCoP MMP – enabling sustainable re-use of site-won materials while maintaining programme certainty
The session demonstrates how geo-environmental assessment underpins planning, construction decision-making and risk management on brownfield developments.
Please register to attend so we can arrange adequate catering, and specify any dietary requirements. Thank You.
Please note: this event is for over 18’s only.
This learning activity can contribute to your annual CPD return and should be logged accordingly.
