Summary

From hazard detection to compliance support, explore practical AI applications for safer construction workplaces.

Co-hosted with the Lighthouse Club, this in-person seminar explores the application of an AI-powered Digital Human OSH Ambassador developed for construction and industrial environments.

By combining real-time vision technology, large language models (LLMs), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), the system can identify workplace hazards such as missing PPE, fall risks, and electrical exposures, while providing context-aware occupational safety and health (OSH) guidance aligned with both international standards and local regulations.

Attendees will gain insights into how AI technologies can support hazard recognition, regulatory compliance, and safety decision-making across the built environment sector.

Key Learning Outcomes:
• Hazard detection through camera input
• Conversational Q&A on site risks
• Automated lookups of OSH regulations
• AI-powered analysis of permits and safety documents
