CIOB Site Visit - Nairn Academy

Summary

Construction of a new replacement secondary school at Nairn Academy is well underway and is due to be completed summer 2026. The £60M design and build project has been designed to Passivhaus standards and will accommodate around 800 pupils replacing the current 50 year old school.

The site visit will be conducted by the main contractor Balfour Beatty and the Highland Council’s Employers Agent, William Fettes. A short presentation will take place after site inductions followed by a tour of the site.
