Fire doors are one of the most important passive fire protection measures in a building, yet they are frequently installed incorrectly, misunderstood, or poorly maintained. This session will explore some of the common myths and misconceptions surrounding fire doors, alongside practical insights into correct installation, inspection, and regulatory expectations.
Delivered by Ian Cavanagh of Independent Fire Safety Services Ltd, an experienced fire door trainer and industry specialist, the session will provide a broad overview of fire door compliance and good practice. Ian encourages open discussion and audience participation, making this an engaging opportunity to share experiences and ask questions.
