Summary
Join us for an Earth Day–aligned CPD event bringing construction and built environment professionals.This in‑person event, held in recognition of Earth Day, will explore how construction professionals can respond to pressing environmental challenges while upholding the highest standards of modern professional practice.
The programme will include two topical talks delivered by CIOB Johannesburg Hub members, Mike Deane and Tsebo Keona, focusing on:
Sustainability in the built environment
Modern professionalism and ethical practice in a changing industry
As part of the session, our venue sponsor will also host a short specialist insight, delivered by Simon, covering:
Artificial Intelligence in Practice – Protecting Your Intellectual Property and Professional Reputation
This practical talk will highlight key considerations around the responsible use of AI, risk awareness, and professional accountability.
The evening will conclude with dedicated networking time, offering attendees an opportunity to connect with fellow built environment professionals and meet and engage with members of the CIOB Johannesburg Hub.his event is for over 18's only.
