Speakers

Nurul Sabri - Associate Director at HKA

Nurul Sabri is a dual-qualified Quantity Surveyor, holding both an LLB and an LLM, with over 17 years of experience in the construction industry. She specialises in contract and quantum matters and has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Nurul has acted as both lead assistant and assistant to named quantum experts in international arbitration and adjudication proceedings across the Middle East and Africa. She has contributed to the preparation of expert reports in disputes valued at up to USD 100 million.

Nurul's expertise focuses on quantum assessment in complex building, infrastructure, and power generation disputes. Her experience includes the evaluation of final accounts and the quantification of prolongation, disruption and acceleration costs, variations, head office overheads, loss of profit, financing costs, interest, and loss of opportunity claims.

Nurul is a RICS Registered Expert Witness, an accredited HKIAC Tribunal Secretary, and a Level 1 Accredited Mediator with the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI). She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS). She currently serves on the Board of the Ciarb Qatar Branch as Honorary Secretary

Hari Krishna Danda - Associate Director at HKA

Hari is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with a Civil Engineering background with more than 15 years of experience across the areas of claims management, construction dispute resolution, quantity surveying, contract administration, pre- and post-contract management, cost management, and final account and close out. Hari is also a Registered Expert Witness with RICS and holds a LLM degree in Construction Law and Arbitration, an MBA in Project Management

Hari specialises in quantum analysis and is known for his in-depth analyses of project costs, contract provisions and attention to detail when analysing an issue. He has acted as Lead Assistant to the Quantum Experts in the preparation of over 25 Quantum Expert Reports submitted to various arbitral tribunals (ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, QICCA, DIAC, Ad hoc) in Qatar, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Italy, Egypt and India.
