Leadership Insights: Making the Most of the Tomorrow’s Leaders Community

Summary

Following the launch of CIOB Aspire, our new initiative aimed at supporting and inspiring individuals to take their first steps into the construction industry, and as we continue to support members to develop their professionalism as part of our Tomorrow's Leaders Community, we are delighted to introduce this new leadership insights webinar.

This session will bring together members of the Tomorrow’s Leaders community, including both current and former members who have progressed into other roles within the industry, such as positions on our Hub Committees and CIOB Trustee. The session will provide an opportunity to hear directly from these individuals about their career journeys to date, the experiences and opportunities that have shaped their progression, and the role that involvement in Tomorrow’s Leaders has played in supporting their professional development.

The conversation will explore:

• Career journeys and progression – Hearing about the speakers’ career paths, key milestones and the experiences that have influenced their development
• The impact of Tomorrow’s Leaders – Exploring how being part of the community has helped speakers build skills, networks, confidence, and opportunities for career growth
• Having a voice in the industry – Discussing the importance of Tomorrow’s Leaders having a voice within the Institute, as well as contributing to wider conversations and topics affecting the industry
• Leadership and wider involvement – Highlighting how members can continue to contribute to the Institute and take on additional opportunities, including roles within Hub Committees
• Inspiring the next generation – Exploring the role Tomorrow’s Leaders can play in supporting, encouraging, and inspiring the next generation of industry professionals
