Summary

Join the CIOB Perth Hub at Perth Concert Hall to see the progress of the main works package.

Please note: this event is for over 18’s only.

Join us at Perth Concert Hall to see the progress of the main works package.

The main works package includes the redevelopment of the existing building, including new public internal spaces and foyers, new food and beverage outlets, upgraded backstage facilities and storage, new West Australian Symphony Orchestra administration, rehearsal rooms and instrument storage, new auditorium seating, and the redevelopment of the northern forecourt and landscaping.

The revitalisation works will ensure the preservation of the venue's distinctive character and world-class acoustics.

Originally designed by architects Jeffrey Howlett and Don Bailey, the venue was the first concert hall to be built in Australia after World War II, with its doors opening to the public on 26 January 1973.

Site requirements: Standard site PPE required - Please supply your own Hard Hat, Safety Boots, Hi Vis Vest and Safety Glasses. No PPE will be supplied.
