Summary
Discover the latest progress at Ipswich Museum and Arras Square as two landmark projects preserve the past and shape the future.Revisiting Ipswich Museum & Exploring Arras Square
Join us for a return site visit to Ipswich Museum to see how this landmark restoration and modernisation project has progressed since our last tour. This follow-up visit offers the opportunity to revisit the beautifully reimagined Grade II* listed building and discover the latest developments as it prepares to welcome visitors.
See how the museum continues to celebrate its rich Victorian heritage while delivering enhanced accessibility, expanded gallery spaces and improved visitor facilities. Explore the transformed interiors, where former office spaces have been repurposed into engaging exhibition areas, allowing more of the museum's remarkable collections to be displayed than ever before.
This site visit also includes a tour of Arras Square, where you'll learn about the ongoing transformation of this important public space and its role in Ipswich's wider regeneration. Together, these two projects showcase how thoughtful design, heritage conservation and placemaking are helping to shape the future of the town while preserving its historic character.
Whether you joined us on our previous museum visit or are attending for the first time, this combined tour offers a valuable opportunity to experience two of Ipswich's most significant regeneration projects and gain insight into the vision, challenges and achievements behind their transformation.
