Summary

Join us and explore climate resilience in the construction industry, with the advent of climate change and as extreme/natural weather events

Please note: this event is for over 18’s only.

As climate change accelerates, the construction industry faces increasing pressure to respond to more frequent and severe extreme weather events. This webinar explores the critical concept of climate resilience and its growing importance in shaping the future of the built environment. Participants will gain insight into how infrastructure and urban systems can be better prepared to withstand and adapt to environmental challenges.

The session will examine the key risks posed by climate change and how these impact planning, design, and engineering practices. It will also highlight practical and forward-thinking strategies that professionals can adopt to enhance the resilience of buildings and infrastructure. Through this discussion, attendees will develop a deeper understanding of how to integrate resilience into projects, ensuring long-term sustainability and performance in an evolving climate landscape.

This learning activity can contribute to your annual CPD return and should be logged accordingly.
