York Central Infrastructure Works Site Visit

Join CIOB South Yorkshire for an exclusive site visit to York Central, one of the UK's largest city-centre regeneration projects. Located adjacent to York Railway Station, the 45-hectare brownfield site is being transformed into a vibrant mixed-use development that will deliver new homes, commercial space, public realm and enhanced transport infrastructure.

Hosted by John Sisk & Son Ltd, this visit will focus on the delivery of the landmark bridge structure spanning the East Coast Main Line, a critical piece of infrastructure helping to unlock the wider development. Attendees will gain first-hand insight into the planning, engineering and construction challenges involved in delivering major works within a live rail environment.

The project team will also provide an overview of the wider infrastructure programme, including highways, active travel routes, utilities and stakeholder collaboration. This visit offers a valuable opportunity to learn more about the delivery of a complex, large-scale infrastructure project that will play a key role in shaping the future of York.
