Notice is hereby given that the Institute’s ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held at the Radisson Blu Bloomsbury, 9-13 Bloomsbury Street, London WC1B 3QD on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at 0900hrs (BST).

Note: All classes of members are welcome to attend the meeting and, with the permission of the Chair, to speak.  Only Corporate Members personally present are entitled to vote upon any Resolution. Voting shall be by a show of hands, unless a poll is demanded in accordance with Bye-Law 49. 

All Corporate Members have been given the chance to review the Annual Review and Accounts and raise questions to [email protected]. They have been asked to express their view electronically which will be informed to the members personally present at the General Meeting prior to voting. The vote at the General Meeting will be the only voting mechanism.

Agenda

1. Notice convening the meeting.

2. Apologies for absence.

3. To consider the Annual Report of The Chartered Institute of Building including Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2025.

4. To appoint the auditors of the Institute and to authorise the Board of Trustees to agree their remuneration.

5. To consider the composition of the Board of Trustees for 2026-2027:

            5.1  Installation of the new President. 

            5.2  Declaration of the election by the Board of Trustees of Officers & co-opted members.

            5.3  Confirmation of the Board of Trustees 

            5.4  Vote of thanks from the Incoming President. 

6. Any other business.
