Summary
Join us for an insightful look into Harlestone Grange: a sustainable urban extensionHarlestone Grange is a sustainable urban extension comprising up to 3,000 new homes, with Persimmon Homes and Charles Church delivering up to 1,933 properties, including a range of private sale, affordable rent, and shared ownership options. Located on the edge of Northampton, adjacent to the beautiful Harlestone Firs, the development is designed with long term sustainability and community in mind. It will feature 7.2 hectares of employment land, a Local Centre, two primary schools, a secondary school, the redevelopment of Grange Farm, and an extension of the Northwest Bypass. The masterplan also includes extensive open spaces and strategic landscaping to promote biodiversity and well-being. Construction of the Northwest Bypass began in June 2024, with superstructure works for Phase 1 starting in September 2024. Phase 1 will deliver 81 homes under the Charles Church brand and 248 Persimmon homes, including provision for a housing association.
