PDP Assessor Workshop

Summary

Overview

The PDP Assessor workshops are aimed at:

• Nominated PDP assessors who are either new to the role or would benefit from a refresher.

Attendance at these workshops is optional.

There are a range of training materials available within the platform, Learning Assistant, including guides and tutorial videos, to support assessors when navigating the platform and reviewing portfolios.

Learning Outcomes of the Workshop

• Know the benefits of the Personal Development Programme
• Gain an understanding of the PDP, its components and process
• Have knowledge of the various roles involved in the PDP
• Understand the CIOB standards required to assess candidate portfolio
• Have knowledge of your responsibilities as an assessor
• Know the importance of an effective induction for the candidate
• Gain a basic understanding of the platform, Learning Assistant, and where to locate key resources to aid portfolio compilation and review
