CIOB responded to the MHCLG's call for evidence on toilet provision, seeking to expand the call for evidence.
The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) launched a technical review on increasing accessibility and provision of toilets for men and women. Following CIOB research and other evidence that poor quality welfare facilities has led to mental health issues and concerns around hygiene, we formulated a response.
Our response calls for an expansion to the review and suggestions around improving the responsibilities of construction companies to provide high-quality welfare facilities. Our submission can be viewed below.
