Sarah set up S Williams Architects in 2013 after 25 years working in private practice in the UK and overseas.

Sarah is a practitioner and also works strategically as an RIBA Client Adviser, often collaborating with other architectural practices. She is currently on the RIBA Membership Board Committee and until recently was Chair of the RIBA Client Adviser Steering Group. Sarah spent many years as a Design Adviser for DfE, supporting with the schools and FE transformation programme.

She has participated in design review panels, regularly speaks at conferences and has organised and judged various competitions and awards. Past and previous clients include The Department for Education, RIBA, Hammersmith and Fulham Council, Winchester City Council, The Crown Estate, Berkeley Homes, Sevenoaks Town Council, and various other private developers and Local Authorities. She is currently advising RIBA on the House of Architecture Programme which includes a refurbishment of their beautiful, listed headquarters building at 66 Portland Place, London.
