About the Role

We have an exciting new role available for a Qualifications Liaison Manager to join our team.  Based remotely in the Midlands, you will work with further and higher education providers in the region, including the University of Wolverhampton, to embed the CIOB’s qualification and education programmes and membership routes into further and higher education courses. 

Reporting to our Director of Education & Standards, you will work to promote the strategic importance of construction management and the CIOB qualifications to students, apprentices and academics in schools, university technical colleges and colleges. You will also promote and educate the local team to promote member growth and retention through education initiatives, and work with stakeholders, employers and education providers to develop qualifications and apprenticeships that meet the needs of local businesses.

 

What we’re looking for…

We’re looking for an individual who is educated to degree level or equivalent with significant experience in education policy and the development of qualifications and apprenticeships.  You will be used to working directly with students, graduates, employers and other customers to provide information and advice on qualifications and professional roles, and it’s a bonus if that’s in the construction industry. With excellent presentation skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, you will have the confidence to promote CIOB qualifications and programmes and have experience of training and implementing education programmes, developing products and standards.

Due to the nature of this role, a full clean driving licence is essential.
