About the Role
As Communications Officer you’ll be at the heart of our team, helping us reach new people and inspiring those who already know us. You’ll be part of a communications function that has real experience, and in this role, you will take the lead on how we present ourselves online.
You’ll take charge of what content goes on our websites, having a mind for the user and helping us make our information as accessible as possible. You’ll make sure the website sounds and looks like us, championing our brand.
Using our sophisticated suite of analytics, you’ll measure how our content is performing and which messages need adaptation. You’ll also help colleagues publish content to our sites and support their training with your expertise.
This role also extends into our internal platforms to help connect and inform colleagues. You’ll be part of a team that drives forward our SharePoint experience unlocking new functionality and supporting the flow of news and messages across the business.
About You
We are looking for a skilled and creative communications professional who is digitally savvy with experience in creating engaging content for websites, apps and social media. You’ll be a confident communicator able to influence at all levels of seniority with impeccable written, verbal and organisational skills.
Our ideal candidate will enjoy working with plenty of creative freedom and be comfortable taking responsibility for how our digital platforms look and sound. You’ll bring to the role a natural ability and understanding of effective communication and what works for digital audiences. You’ll be familiar with content management systems and interested in learning new technology and exploiting the cutting-edge tools we have in place.
